| LOEL Ltd (www.loel.com.cy) was founded in 1943 and it was the first winery in Cyprus that was organised in the form of public company having thousands of shareholders, who in their majority were viticulturists. It’s mission was mainly the development of viniculture, the employment generation, and also the revival of viticulture, that has been abandoned for centuries. The development on the following decades was considerably high for viniculture and viticulture. New grape varieties were imported and cultivated by the majority of wineries and as a result high quality wines become famous not only in the Cyprus market but also abroad. LOEL was the first winery that accepted with enthusiasm this new qualitative upgrade, producing very soon after that, high quality table wines with fresh and fruity character, as was Palomino, St Hilarion, Riesling, Muscat etc. Simultaneously, LOEL developed its own vineyards, in order to ensure its needs in superior quality grapes. The main bottled wines and spirits that LOEL produces today are the following:

- Regional Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Palomino, Muscat, Chardonnay
- Table Wines: Hermes, Orpheo Black, Nectaria, Anthea med. red, Amathus, Anthea, St. Hilarion
- Vinotheque wines: Red dry, Red med dry, White Dry, White Med. Dry, Sangria
- Sparkling wines: Mediterranean Breeze, Champino
- Spirits: Cypriot Brandy VO43, Brandy: Master’s XO, VSOP- Loel, Gemini
- ZIVANA
- Liquers
- Juices LOEL also produces Commandaria, which is considered to be the 1st Cypriot wine that is of protected “origin” by the EU. However, our leader product ZIVANA – is since 1997 produced in 2 types, ZIVANA 45° and ZIVANA DE LUXE. ZIVANA is a traditional product that we first managed to legally bottle and distribute.
